On its own, this pie is fantastic, but it only gets better when you add your creativity. Here are two variations that are definitely worth trying, and hopefully, they give you the inspiration you need to create your own peanut butter pie masterpiece.

Start the caramel sauce by melting four tablespoons of butter in a heavy-bottomed saucepan over medium heat and then adding a quarter cup of brown sugar and a quarter cup of white sugar. Continue to stir until the sugar completely dissolves and begins to darken slightly. Reduce the heat to low and carefully pour in a half cup of heavy cream. While stirring, raise the temperature slowly until it is simmering. Cook for three minutes and remove from the heat. Stir in a half teaspoon of sea salt and a half cup of roughly chopped peanuts.

Step one: Gather your ingredients. You will need 2 graham cracker crumb pie crusts, 8 oz. of cream cheese (softened), 1 1/2 c. of powdered sugar, 1 c. milk, 1 c. peanut butter, 1 tsp. vanilla, 1/2 tsp. almond, 8 oz. non-dairy whipped topping, dry roasted peanuts, and hot fudge.

Using an electric mixer cream the cream cheese. Add powdered sugar, peanut butter, and milk. Mix thoroughly. Fold in non-dairy whipped topping and peanuts. Cover the bottom of pie crusts with hot fudge sauce. Pour mixture into pie crusts and store in freezer.

I have been making it for years also.! Those of you having a lot of trouble with the whipping cream You can use cool whip for ease but might want to reduce the sugar a bit as cool whip already sweetened. - I usually double the recipes no use half cool whip and half whipped heavy cream. To those in other countries with no access to graham crackers you could use and kind of cookie crust... shortbread, vanilla wafer type cookie, or a chocolate cookie is the best giving a peanut butter cup type dessert! Also if you are having trouble with the granulated sugar... powdered/confectioners sugar works equally as well in my experience but it also seems a bit sweeter.

I am making this pie as of now . I looked at a bunch on the internet and this was the most apealling . I noticed in the comments a few were saying it was a little gritty . Not sure if this was their problem but, always make sure your peanut butter and your cream cheese are at room temperature . Just a tip. thanks for the post . I'm sure it will be good.

I just tried this recipe and it came out nicely. This version is as dripping buttery as cracker barrel, but its prett darn close. Recipe was confusing when it came to butter and how much but i just used 2/3 cup of buttermilk but noticed the dough didnt come together so i melted and shook 2 tbsp of butter and mixed it in and it did the trick. I also didnt feel like shaping them so i took a spoon and made drop biscuits and it still looked and tasted great.

Grandma's Peanut Butter Bars are such a simple and classic recipe that has been passed down over the years. Many of us may remember our school lunch ladies making them. This is one dessert recipe that is hard to resist and comes to us today thanks to Grammie Angel. Grammie shared her recipe on TikTok recently and I just had to make them after seeing her easily whip them up. She said these are her grandson's favorite and I can see why! I do add some tips below that I think will be helpful when you are making this peanut butter bar recipe. Also, if you missed GRAMMIE'S SWEDISH APPLE PIE recipe, make sure you go take a look!

While the peanut butter layer sets in the freezer, place the chocolate chips into a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 15-second intervals, stirring each time until the chocolate is melted and smooth, do not overcook or the chocolate will seize.

Before traveling a few years ago I emailed Cracker Barrel about their foods and the corporate office stated that all Cracker Barrels are owned by the corporation and they use no peanut products in any of their foods. However, I have noticed peanut butter pie on the menu so we don't let our daughter eat pies or cakes that might come in contact. The frozen sundaes have almonds in them so we order them without almonds because I don't trust nuts that might be packaged in the same plant as peanuts. 350c69d7ab
